Kushal’s fashion and silver jewellery plans to open 300 stores in India, eyes 50% growth this fiscal

Kushal’s has over 90 stores in more than 30 cities, namely Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad, Kochi, Indore, Chandigarh, and Guwahati, each spanning an average size of 900 sq.ft 

Bengaluru: Bengaluru-based fashion and silver jewellery retailer Kushal’s is looking to expand its store count to over 300 stores within the next three years, according to a media report. 

The company plans to strategically open up 30 to 35 new outlets annually, according to Manish Gulecha, Director of Kushal’s Fashion Jewellery, who was quoted as saying.  

“Our recent expansion into the Northern market has received a positive response. As we continue to grow, we plan to focus more on the Northern and Western regions in the coming years, with a particular focus on expanding in Maharashtra and Delhi NCR,” Gulecha said.

The 2024 financial year saw Kushal’s turnover increase by 40 per cent year-on-year to total Rs 300 crore. This fiscal, the business aims for 50 per cent growth, driven by its retail expansion plan and the silver jewellery category it ventured in recently. 

The jewellery company was founded in 2006 by the Gulecha family. It also retails through its direct-to-consumer (D2C) website, and e-commerce platforms such as Ajio and Myntra and has reportedly seen a 160 per cent growth in silver category- ever since its launch last year.
