Established in 2017, Nitin Jewellers (2H 199, Nesco) continues its growth from a modest manufacturer to a leading wholesaler and exporter

MUMBAI: Hyderabad-based Nitin Jewellers, led by Founder and Managing Director Nitin Gulabani, participated in the 40th edition of IIJS Premiere, marking another step in its journey from a modest manufacturer to a recognised name in the jewellery industry. Established in 2017, the company has quickly evolved into a significant wholesaler and exporter, particularly known for its studded ruby and emerald jewellery and traditional Hyderabadi designs.

Reflecting on the event, Nitin Gulabani remarked, “This is one of the best IIJS I have seen in the last 15-16 years. The footfall is terrific, and the timing could not be better with the recent reduction in customs duty by the government.” The 2024-25 Union Budget, with its pro-gold policy measures, including a cut in import duty on gold, has made the market more attractive for buyers, contributing to a notable 30 per cent increase in footfall for Nitin Jewellers this year.

The company’s stall at Hall No. 2, Stall No. 2H.199, in the Bombay Exhibition Centre, has attracted significant interest, with a steady influx of both new and existing customers. “We are getting three to four new customers daily, in addition to our regular clientele,” Gulabani noted, emphasising the rising demand for ruby and emerald studded jewellery as buyers diversify their preferences beyond traditional gold.

Nitin Jewellers’ experience at IIJS Premiere 2024 underscores its commitment to quality and innovation. “We go according to market trends and personally take care of what is moving and what is not. We sit with designers to create something different,” Gulabani explained, highlighting the brand’s approach to staying relevant in a competitive market.

The company’s focus on the South Indian market has been particularly rewarding, with the region showing the strongest response. “We are getting a good response from the South region, particularly because our product is very much South-focused,” Nitin said. This alignment with regional preferences has helped Nitin Jewellers build trust and recognition in a key market.

As IIJS Premiere 2024 continues, Nitin Jewellers is poised to leverage this momentum, offering customers a blend of tradition and modernity in their jewellery collections. With a mission to deliver best-in-class products and a vision of fostering creativity, Nitin Jewellers is steadily enhancing its presence in the industry.
