The store, with an area of 1,600 sq. ft, has two floors and is divided into separate sections for different categories of jewellery. It aims to target the developing base of consumers in the area
Mumbai: To bolster its retail presence, Waman Hari Pethe Jewellers inaugurated a new store in Virar (West), Mumbai, on April 21, 2024. The store launch takes the number of the brand’s retail outlets to 24 across Maharashtra, with one store each in Indore, Madhya Pradesh and Panjim, Goa.
“Most of the retail brands are targeting this area since Virar has a developing base of consumers, which also includes jewellery consumers. We are into mass retailing and we aim to have customers from as many regions and locations as possible,” said Mahesh Pandey, Marketing Manager, Waman Hari Pethe Jewellers.
“In the Konkan region, Waman Hari Pethe Jewellers is a well-known brand and we understand that consumers in this region are quite affiliated to gold and silver. Hence it is important for us to have both these categories in our stores,” Pandey adds. Notably, the new store has an area of 1,600 sq. ft, and covers two floors. It is divided into separate sections for diamond jewellery, gold necklaces and bangles, silver jewellery and lightweight categories such as rings and earrings.
Situated strategically between two existing stores in Vasai and Boisar, the Virar store aims to bridge geographical gaps and serve the growing demand for quality jewellery among the area’s burgeoning consumer base.
Waman Hari Pethe Jewellers recently launched its bridal Soundarya collection that comprises diamond, polki and kundan jewellery. The intricately designed jewellery collection by the brand aims to attract the attention of jewellery consumers, especially jewellery shoppers in Virar, as the collection is housed in a dedicated space in the new store.
