Chennai: Vummidi Bangaru Jewellers (VBJ) recently associated with the SDAT Squash World Cup 2025 by designing and crafting the winners’ trophies. Twelve teams from five different continents competed for the title in the international mixed gender team squash tournament, held between December 9-14, 2025 in Chennai. When hosts India were crowned SDAT Squash World Cup champions at the Express Avenue Mall, Chennai, the VBJ-created winner’s trophy became the cynosure of all eyes and ensured high visibility for the brand.

While designing and crafting the trophies for the championship, VBJ drew on design references linked to sport and achievement. Each trophy features engraved elements depicting squash players, reflecting the physical and competitive aspects of the game. A globe crowns the structure, representing the global nature of the championship and the participation of teams from multiple countries. The unveiling of the trophies became a key moment during the inauguration ceremony, in the presence of national and international dignitaries.
