The monthly activity encouraged customer participation with the promise of rewards to strengthen engagement with the retailer’s savings scheme

Arkalgud: Jewellery retailer RR Gold Palace has successfully concluded the fourth monthly lucky draw under its RR Swarna Bumper Yojana, reinforcing its customer engagement strategy through a transparent, in-store activity that rewards participants enrolled in the retailer’s savings scheme.

Held at the retailer’s showroom, the event brought together customers for a live lucky draw where eligible participants’ numbered tokens were placed into a traditional silver vessel before winners were selected. The physical draw format, conducted in the presence of customers and streamed online, aimed to build confidence in the fairness of the process while creating an interactive in-store experience.

Under the Swarna Bumper Yojana, every enrolled customer is assigned a unique token linked to their account number. However, only customers who have completed the required monthly instalments qualify for each draw. Before the selection process begins, store representatives verify that every eligible token has been included, while customers are invited to inspect both the tokens and the empty silver vessel before the draw commences. The tokens are then thoroughly mixed before winners are selected by customers and store staff.

The yojana goes beyond a conventional promotional campaign by encouraging customers to visit the showroom, witness the draw firsthand and participate in the selection process. By allowing attendees to inspect the tokens and observe each stage of the draw, RR Gold Palace places transparency at the centre of the initiative, addressing customer concerns around fairness while reinforcing trust in the programme.

The monthly format also supports continued participation in the retailer’s savings scheme, with eligibility tied to timely instalment payments. Customers who miss the required instalments become eligible only after meeting the payment criteria for subsequent draws, creating an incentive for consistent engagement throughout the duration of the scheme.

As jewellery retailers increasingly look for ways to combine savings programmes with experiential marketing, RR Gold Palace’s Swarna Bumper Yojana demonstrates how physical in-store activations can strengthen customer loyalty, encourage repeat footfalls and sustain long-term participation. The completion of the fourth lucky draw highlights the retailer’s continued investment in community-driven engagement while maintaining a transparent and interactive rewards programme.

RR Gold Palace is a retail jewellery showroom in Arkalgud, Karnataka, offering 22-carat BIS hallmarked gold jewellery, silver articles and gemstone jewellery.
