The event offered the jeweller a platform to engage with customers who value culture and traditions, and earn their loyalty in the process
Bhopal: Kataria Jewellers recently organized the Acyuta Gopi Live spiritual concert in Indore, aiming to create a meaningful brand experience beyond traditional retail interactions. The eventbrought together around 1,500 people and offered the jewellery brand a platform to connect with customers through culture and spirituality.
Harsh Kataria, Managing Director, Kataria Jewellers, explained, “Our goal extends beyond selling jewellery; we aim to foster a sense of community, culture and spiritual well-being. The Acyuta Gopi Live concert provided a perfect platform to connect with our patrons on an emotional and soulful level, reinforcing the values of purity, tradition, and timelessness that are inherent in both our jewellery and the spiritual music.”
The initiative aligns with the brand’s strategy of moving from transactional marketing to experience-led engagement. By associating with a recognized spiritual musician, Kataria Jewellers aimed to strengthen brand loyalty and communicate its focus on culture.
The concert attracted a diverse audience, ranging from young professionals to senior citizens. Attendees engaged with the performance and with the brand, responding positively to its role in organizing the event. The association positioned Kataria Jewellers as a patron of arts and culture, enhancing its image within the community that values these traditions.
“The response from attendees was overwhelmingly positive,” said Kataria. “Many participants visited our store after the concert to explore collections, thank us, or enquire about future launches. The event acted as a catalyst for conversations and footfalls, demonstrating how experiential initiatives can drive both engagement and curiosity.”
While the primary aim was brand building, the concert also showed a subtle impact on sales. Existing and potential customers were encouraged to finalize purchases, aided by the strengthened perception of trust and quality.
Through the Acyuta Gopi Live concert, Kataria Jewellers has illustrated how cultural and spiritual experiences can reinforce brand values, build community connections and support long-term customer engagement.
The Kataria Jewellers brand traces its origins to 1909, when Shri Dhulchand Ji Sa Kataria established it as Daulatram Dhulchand. The name was changed to Dhulchand Pannalal in 1962 and later rebranded as Kataria Jewellers in 1999. The company operates two stores in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, in addition to its recently opened showroom in Indore.
