Hari Krishna Exports organizes blood donation drive on its 29th anniversary

On the mark of its 29th Anniversary, Hari Krishna Exports Private Limited, India’s leading natural diamond manufacturer and exporter, hosted a virtual event to celebrate this togetherness and success with all its stakeholders and 2 days blood donation drive with 357 Units of Blood Collected.

Ghanshyam Dholakia (Founder and Managing Director of Hari Krishna Exports) hosted and addressed the event, which went live on Zoom and Youtube at 6:00 PM (Indian Standard Time) on 1st July 2021.

Dholakia also shared his thoughts on the upcoming trends in the industry based on the last five year’s market movements and the research and development of the HK Team.

Furthermore, the group provides a 1.29% advantage on all the diamond purchases from 2nd July 2021 – 9:00 AM onwards*.

Hari Krishna Exports, a leading manufacturer and exporter of natural diamonds, organized a two-day blood donation drive on 2nd & 3rd July 2021 at The Capital, BKC on the mark of the company’s 29th anniversary with the theme – Act of Kindness.

The drive was open for all HK employees and the community around. Every year the HK Group hosts three such blood donation drives in its Surat and Mumbai offices, from which a total of 11509 units of blood have been collected to date.

The event was honored by chief guest Sandip Karnik (Additional Commissioner of Police – Crime Branch, Mumbai West), Ramesh S. Rao, General Manager (CCGRO-1) & Satya Prakash Pathak Chief General Manager(Commercial Clients Group-1)  of  State Bank of India, Rahul Sanghvi (Veer Foundation), Datatray Savant (Teacher), Ghanshyam Dholakia (founder & managing director of Hari Krishna Exports), prominent stakeholders, well-wishers, and other delegates from the industry.

In this event, Rahul Sanghvi and Datatray Savant were facilitated for their act of kindness in their respective fields.

Rahul Sanghvi started the Oxygen on Wheels campaign under his Veer Foundation to provide oxygen to the needfuls in the time of pandemic free of cost. Datatry Savant is a teacher by profession, but he started driving Rickshaw (local cab service) as schools were closed due to the pandemic. He used to drop the COVID patients to the hospitals and local senior citizens to the vaccination centers for free in his rickshaw.

This drive aimed to spread awareness regarding the importance of blood donation in saving human lives, not only in medical emergencies but also in treating people suffering from severe life-threatening diseases that require a timely and safe blood transfusion. So, people get motivated to do it more often.

Speaking about the occasion, Ghanshyam Dholakia, Founder & Managing Director, HK Exports Pvt Ltd., said that blood donation is one of the finest acts of humanity. It is our moral responsibility to donate blood at regular intervals. So the people involved in major surgeries get timely access to safe blood, especially in these challenging times when people need COVID antibody-rich plasma to survive.

This blood donation drive concluded by giving Umbrella as a token of appreciation as gifts, certificates, and books along with their donor cards to all the blood donors present.
