Their popularity will go a long way in spreading the word about IJSF among jewellery enthusiasts. GJC anticipates that the entire value chain will be involved in this event, which has the potential of becoming one of the most anticipated jewellery shopping events internationally. Commenting on the high-profile developments, Rajesh Rokde, Vice Chairman, GJC, said, “IJSF is delighted to collaborate with Shruti Hassan and Prajakta Mali as our brand ambassadors. Both Shruti and Prajakta represent the quintessential woman of today, who is modern and yet, values our traditions and customs. They are glamorous, free-spirited, joyful, fashionable and thus, a perfect fit for an event such as IJSF which appeals to women across the country.”

Manoj Jha, Joint Convenor, IJSF, said, “We have been receiving good responses from the jewellery community for the festival. We wanted to make sure that we also strengthened our recall amongst jewellery enthusiasts and hence after thorough consideration, we decided to go ahead with Shruti Hassan and Prajakta Mali, who resonate well with our target audience across all age groups. We are confident that IJSF will be a huge success across the country. Next year, we will come back with a bigger festival for our buyers and participants.”
