Pune: PNG Jewellers celebrated the 11th anniversary of its Ahilya Nagar showroom by reiterating its commitment to creating memorable experiences for its customers, in the form of ‘Swarna Suvarna’ – a special event organized by the brand featuring singer Padma Shri Suresh Wadkar. What sets ‘Swarna Suvarna’ apart is that it was not merely a sponsored performance, but a fully ticketed show—conceptualized, curated and executed by PNG Jewellers.

The event highlighted the brand’s conviction that genuine customer engagement is rooted in emotional connection rather than mere commercial transactions. “It’s the brand’s responsibility to curate experiences that are relevant and meaningful to its target audience,” said Hemant Chavaan, Head – Marketing, PNG Jewellers. “Suresh Wadkarji’s musical legacy and his goodwill among Indian music lovers made him the ideal artiste to lead this celebration.”

Held in a packed 700-seater auditorium, the event drew a diverse audience of music enthusiasts, including the brand’s customers, from across Pune. The audience was treated to two hours of timeless melodies by Suresh Wadkar. Accompanied by his wife, Padma Wadkar, the duo captivated the crowd with soulful renditions, ending the night on a high with classics like ‘Sapne Mein Milti Hai…’ and ‘Chappa Chappa…’, leaving the hall echoing with applause. Following the overwhelming response to the show in Ahilya Nagar, the brand made a plan to host the second edition of ‘Swarna Suvarna’ in Nagpur, once again featuring Suresh Wadkar.

Speaking about the event, Chavaan said, “Celebrating the 11th anniversary of our Ahilya Nagar showroom is a benchmark of growth for the brand. We believe in increasing customer interaction not just through products but also through experiences. While such events may not be quantifiable in terms of direct ROI or sales, they significantly enhance brand loyalty.”

Meanwhile, Dr Saurabh Gadgil, Chairman and Managing Director of PNG Jewellers, took to Instagram to share just how special the Ahilya Nagar store is to the brand. He wrote, “Ahilya Nagar holds a special place in the journey of PNG Jewellers—not just for its strategic significance, but for the deep connection it shares with the community.” Since its launch, the store has consistently outperformed expectations, breaking even within just nine months—a remarkable feat that set a new benchmark across the brand’s retail network.

On the expansion front, PNG Jewellers has been actively growing its presence across Maharashtra. On March 23, 2025, the brand inaugurated a large-format store along with a newly renovated version of its flagship showroom—both located on Laxmi Road in Pune.

With a rich legacy spanning 193 years, PNG Jewellers currently operates 53 retail outlets across Maharashtra and has announced plans to open more stores in the State by the end of fiscal year 2026. Beyond Maharashtra, the brand also has a presence in Goa and an international outlet in California, USA.
