Panna Jewellers Exclusive revamps store to give dedicated spaces to bridal and boutique jewellery inventory
The newly created spaces facilitate customers who require undivided attention from the store’s staff. The 4,000 sq ft store’s boutique section has been designed such that customers who want to personalize their jewellery with polkis and diamonds, can do so in a hassle-free manner
Hyderabad: The floor design of a retail showroom favours a brand in more ways than one. They help display a larger inventory better and strengthen positioning in the market. Panna Jewellers Exclusive of Hyderabad has utilized this strategy to revamp their existing store to create separate spaces for their bridal jewellery and boutique jewellery clientele, who require undivided attention from the brand’s staff.
The 50-year-old brand, which extended its nearly 2,000 sq. ft store to about 4,000 sq. ft, also utilized the added space to house a conference room for meetings and staff training sessions, according to Devansh Alijar, Chief Marketing Officer, PJE Jewels Pvt Ltd.
Explaining the purpose of the retail space expansion, Alijar said, “The main idea was to have more counters for the bridal and boutique sections, just like the way daily wear jewellery sections in many stores do. Since our store is all about occasion-wear jewellery, bridal jewellery and boutique jewellery, we wanted to section it so that each category can have its exclusivity.”
Apart from the bridal section, which is meant to accommodate entire families, the boutique section has also been designed such that customers who want to personalize their jewellery with polkis and diamonds can do so in a hassle-free manner and at their leisure.
The store is in a commercial zone and right in the heart of the city, and thus it attracts heavy footfalls. “Our retail store expansion is an indication that there is a growing demand for bridal and customizable jewellery. Hyderabad is a highly commercial city and we have good frontage over here – right opposite our store is a popular biryani centre and there are a lot of businesses around, which help with the store’s visibility,” said Alijar.
The brand has also introduced a collection of designer pieces that comprise large diamonds and coloured gemstones such as rubies and yellow diamonds, which customers of bridal jewellery can book in advance. Alijar emphasizes the exclusivity of the store, which has been possible because of the focus on occasion wear, bridal wear and boutique jewellery, instead of lightweight and regular wear.
