Brand not only flaunts its jewellery on every Talla bride with professionally shot photographs, showcasing her journey across each ceremony of a wedding, but also reaches out to a new audience by way of social media collaboration with the photographers

Jammu: The biggest share of any jeweller’s pie comprises brides-to-be and their families. A lot of care is taken by showroom staff to guide the customer along the journey of choosing the right jewellery. If treating the bride like a queen was the job of the respective families earlier, Talla Jewellers of Jammu has taken up the task in right earnest too, by collaborating with the top wedding photography companies of the region to capture the best images of a bride in her wedding jewellery.

The brand also wants to pamper every Talla bride in a big way. Aman Talla, Director, Talla Jewellers, Jammu, says that every bride who wears their jewellery is treated no less than a celebrity. “As marriage is one of the most important points of a person’s journey, we think of new ways to make the experience all the more special for our Talla brides. Earlier, we used to share images of the brides wearing our jewellery and then cite them as our collaborators on Instagram. We used to source the images from the brides themselves, but we found an opportunity to flaunt our jewellery on every Talla bride better with professionally shot photographs,” Talla said.

This led to the brand opting for planned collaborations with the top wedding photography companies in Jammu. Although they have been working with wedding photographers for the last 8-9 years, the decision to collaborate online had multiple aims. “We have been associated with 4-5 major photography companies in Jammu. For example, RP Films is a popular name in the region. The brand has been doing pretty well in terms of reach. For our Dogri bride, we approached RP Films, as we wanted to start this activity with them first. We went ahead with story shares instead of just picture shares,” he explained.

For this Talla bride, the brand put out multiple images and shared stories to give a cinematic treatment to glimpses of the bride. The brand captured the emotional nuances through the extended team of photographers from RP Films, showing jewellery in the correct light instead of CAD impositions or virtual reality products.

The first point of every collaboration is the exchange of database of each collaborator, which is how Talla Jewellers got exposed to a new audience and boosted its reach. Secondly, the association brought in genuine enquiries from people who could see how the brand’s jewellery really looks when worn by a bride, which led to higher conversion rates. “Also, when customers see the brand collaborating with entities outside their industry for a common project, their trust levels increase,” Talla concluded.
