PGI India all set to host 8th platinum buyer-seller meet from June 26 to 27 in Kochi

This year’s agenda looks at how new product development, pricing trends and marketing strategies can support category demand even as it focuses on the next phase of growth through compelling design language. Around 60 retail partners from across PGI’s national network are slated to attend

Mumbai: The Platinum Guild International (PGI) – India will host the 8th edition of its annual Platinum Buyer-Seller Meet on June 26 and 27, 2025 in Kochi. The event is aimed at bringing together key stakeholders across the platinum jewellery industry to strengthen partnerships, explore category opportunities, offer insights into new design strategies and consumer engagement and address changing consumer preferences.

The event will bring together 14 leading platinum jewellery manufacturers and around 60 retail partners from across PGI’s national network. The discussions and showcases will focus on PGI’s three core branded categories: Platinum Love Bands, Platinum Evara and Men of Platinum.

This year’s agenda looks at how new product development, pricing trends and marketing strategies can support category demand. With younger consumers and new-age buyers becoming a growing segment for platinum jewellery, the event will explore how design innovation and positioning can meet evolving expectations.

Commenting on the relevance of the platform, Vaishali Banerjee, Managing Director, Platinum Guild International (India & Middle East)and Head of Global Market Development, Platinum Guild International said, “The Platinum Buyer-Seller Meet was created to enable industry-wide growth by highlighting key innovations and building strong partnerships across the platinum jewellery ecosystem. On the supply side, manufacturers see the event as a space to present new concepts and techniques. The 2024 edition of the meet had also introduced Inoveo Platinum, a new alloy aimed at reshaping platinum jewellery manufacturing, and previewed the MS Dhoni Signature Edition Collection under the Men of Platinum brand.
