In the 10th year of its scholarship initiative, Sara Gandevikar Jewellers supports 1,000 students

The 2025 Sara Scholarship Award, run under the Delight and Divine Charitable Trust, is designed not only to recognize academic effort but also to encourage a sense of social responsibility among students, while allowing the brand to stay rooted in the community

Vadodara: Sara Gandevikar Jewellers has awarded scholarships to over 1,000 students as part of its 2025 Sara Scholarship Award, continuing a charitable tradition that has now completed 10 years. The initiative, run under the Delight and Divine Charitable Trust, focuses on supporting students from Grade X to Grade XII. This year, more than Rs 50 lakh was distributed among deserving students.

The programme is designed not only to recognize academic effort but also to encourage a sense of social responsibility among students. “When children work hard throughout the year and get good results, there is an atmosphere of happiness in every home,” said Amruta Gandevikar, Director, Sara Gandevikar Jewellers. “When they receive appreciation on a stage, they get positive energy – and that energy should spread more in society.”

Gandevikar emphasized that the initiative reflects the brand’s deeper commitment to the society it serves. “This activity has a by-product that it builds goodwill,” she said. “We don’t do anything special – society gives us what we are. We get it from society, and even if we are returning it to them, we are not doing anything out of the box.”

The brand views this annual activity as an opportunity to stay connected with the community and cultivate long-term trust. “If there is a brand that thinks so much socially and people see it, then their trust in a brand also increases,” she noted.

According to Gandevikar, the programme’s intent goes beyond charity. “There should be some humanity in society. For that, we do this activity every year so that, in the initial age, there is a feeling of gratitude and humanity in the children.”

The Sara Scholarship Award continues to reinforce Sara GandevikarJewellers’ presence not only as a retail brand but also as an active contributor to the communities it operates in.

Sara GandevikarJewellers operates three stores in Vadodara, with its gold jewellery and silver stores in Dandia Bazar, and another store located at Waghodia Road.
