The brand’s initiative collects 16 units of blood from 40 volunteers, supporting local children with thalassemia
Jammu: Talla Jewellers has successfully organised a blood donation camp at SMGS Hospital in collaboration with Live For Others – Being Helpful Foundation (LFO-BHF). The initiative, aimed at supporting children with thalassemia, drew 40 volunteers and collected 16 vital units of blood.
Kashish Gupta, CEO of Talla Jewellers, says, “Our collaboration with LFO-BHF reflects our commitment to social responsibility.” The event extended beyond blood donation to include toy distribution and engaging activities for young patients.
The camp attracted a diverse group of donors, including Talla Jewellers’ employees, LFO-BHF members, and local citizens who responded to social media outreach. Local influencers supported the cause, using their platforms to encourage participation and raise awareness about thalassemia.
Talla Jewellers, established in 1986 by Ajay Talla, has grown from modest beginnings to become a prominent jeweller in Jamm u and Kashmir. The brand now operates four stores in Jammu, serving over 2,15,000 customers with its focus on exceptional craftsmanship and service.
Gupta adds, “These initiatives form an essential part of our commitment to social welfare. We believe in creating meaningful change through both significant campaigns and small acts of kindness.”
