Jewelbox expands retail presence with store launch in New Delhi’s Lajpat Nagar
The new store offers a diverse range of lab-grown diamond jewellery, as the brand plans to replicate the model for further expansion with a focus on sustainability
New Delhi: Lab-grown diamond jewellery brand Jewelbox has opened a new store in New Delhi, located at A 90 Central Market, Lajpat Nagar II. This launch marks a significant milestone in the brand’s mission to make luxury fine jewellery more accessible and sustainable across India.
The new store features Jewelbox’s extensive collection of lab-grown diamond jewellery, with aims to highlight the brand’s commitment to innovation and ethical sourcing. This expansion follows the brand’s recent success on Shark Tank India Season 3, where it secured an All-Shark Deal, further increasing its visibility and credibility in the market.
To celebrate the opening, which coincided with Dhanteras, Jewelbox is offering customers an attractive 30% discount on diamond purchase. Vidita Kochar Jain, Co-Founder of Jewelbox, expressed excitement about the new venture, stating, “We are thrilled to bring the Jewelbox experience to Delhi. This store is an important step for us in a city known for its rich culture and appreciation for fine craftsmanship. We look forward to introducing our unique offering of sustainable luxury to the people of Delhi.”
The Delhi store showcases a comprehensive range of jewellery, catering to various occasions with prices ranging from Rs 5,000 to Rs 5,00,000. Each piece is meticulously crafted and certified by international gemological labs such as IGI and SGL, ensuring high-quality standards for customers.
The store launch will also feature an exclusive event, allowing visitors to explore Jewelbox’s latest collections. As part of its growth strategy, Jewelbox plans to open more stores across India, aiming to promote conscious consumption in the luxury market and foster a community that values aesthetics, ethics, and sustainability.
Jewelbox, a Kolkata-based lab-grown diamond jewellery company, was founded in 2022 by Nipun Kochar and Vidita Kochar.
Earlier this year, due to positive early indications, the brand managed to secure Rs 3.5 crore in a funding round. The investment was led by JITO Incubation and Innovation Foundation (JIIF), alongside contributions from close friends and family members. JIIF, known as the only community-based angel network in India, contributed a substantial amount of Rs 2.97 crore to the funding.
