Coimbatore: With an aim to give back to society and to continue supporting local cultural initiatives, Kirtilal Kalidas Jewellers Pvt. Ltd recently sponsored the Coimbatore Vizha cultural festival for the ninth year and for the third year as a platinum sponsor. Beyond the immediate goal of enhancing brand visibility, the brand seeks to immerse itself in the diverse and vibrant cultural events that Coimbatore Vizha showcases.

Speaking about the association with the cultural festival, Suraj Shantakumar, Director, Kirtilal Kalidas Jewellers Pvt. Ltd, explains, “Having flourished in Coimbatore, Kirtilals recognizes the importance of contributing to the cultural and social fabric of the city that played a pivotal role in its success. The decision to sponsor Coimbatore Vizha reflects Kirtilals’ dedication to supporting local initiatives and fostering a sense of community engagement.”
As the platinum sponsor of the cultural event, the jewellery brand, which has been in the business of crafting gold and diamond jewellery for over 80 years, aims to weave its brand narrative into the cultural tapestry of the city. This involvement goes beyond mere financial support; it extends to embracing the values, traditions, and artistic expressions that the festival celebrates. In doing so, Kirtilals positions itself as more than a jewellery brand; it contributes to the rich heritage and social progress of the city.
In the jewellery brand’s view, Coimbatore Vizha signifies a profound commitment to fostering a robust relationship with the community and allows it to actively imbibe the culture of Coimbatore.

Shantakumar further elaborates on the brand’s backing of such local initiatives and says, “By sponsoring Coimbatore Vizha, Kirtilals intends not just to boost its brand presence but also to engage actively in and embrace the varied cultural events the festival presents, thus fortifying its connection with the community.”
According to the Coimbatore Vizha team, the sponsorship could carry several positive implications for the festival and the community it serves, such as increased visibility of the festival and enabling it to reach out to a broader and newer audience and organize more activities, performances and attractions for the community.
