Using technology to create new designs

Stressing on providing quality products to its customers, Vineet Vasa, Partner, Lotus Jewellery Creation in a conversation with The Retail Jeweller, talks about the quality parameters to maintain authenticity of their products.

The Retail Jeweller (TRJ): What makes your creations different from others in the market?
Vineet Vasa (VV): We have expertise in bangles, bracelets, kada, chain, mangalsutra, necklace sets and pendant sets. Lotus Jewellery Creation has 9 carat gold jewellery, gold forming jewellery (1 gram gold forming, 1/2 gram gold forming, 1/4 gram gold forming and 100 mg gold forming). We have a highly experienced in-house team of designers who constantly work as per customer’s requirements. Our research and development team is also highly trained.

TRJ: How important is design innovation nowadays?
VV: Innovation in designing is very important in today’s time as it gives you an edge over your competitors. We always try to explore new innovative ideas and different ways to turn those ideas into real products and services. Constant innovation also helps us to improve our business performance and growth.

TRJ: What kind of focus do you have towards product development?
VV: We are regularly updating our knowledge of technological changes on International platform and market research on national level to create new designs regularly. We also focus on the feedback provided by our valuable customer’s on the products and services we offer. These are the three pillars of our product development.
TRJ: How are your designs helping the retailers in gaining a competitive edge in the market?
VV: We always focus on quality and ensure that no compromise is ever made on the aspect of quality. All our products are stringently checked on various quality parameters such as designs, finesse, originality of designs, polish, durability and artistic appeal.

TRJ: What are your future plans?
VV: We are planning to come up with bigger product line to gain a bigger market share. We are planning to manufacture Temple Jewellery with laser and CNC technology. A line-up of 18-Karat Indo-Italian Jewellery is also on agenda.
