Alfardan Jewellery and Tiffany redefine luxury retail experience

Alfardan Jewellery, in partnership with Tiffany & Co, celebrated the official re-opening of its Villaggio Mall store on November 29.

Located in the heart of the capital, the 1162,5 sq ft space aims to redefine the modern luxury retail experience while embodying the brand’s rich heritage established over 180 years of quality and design excellence.

The evening was hosted by Joe Nahhas, Vice President of Tiffany & Co Middle East & Africa and Antoine Berberi, COO of Alfardan Jewellery, and attended by VIPs and jewellery aficionados, namely Fatima Almomen, a Kuwaiti fashion and luxury influencer.

“Reestablishing a presence at this preeminent luxury shopping destination is a key part of our continued regional growth strategy and underscores the importance of the Qatar market,” Nahhas said. “We’ve designed the store as a truly immersive experience that reflects the Tiffany’s legendary style and our philosophy of celebrating life’s most important moments – we look forward to welcoming more visitors to explore and enjoy,” he noted.

Ali Alfardan, Vice Chairman of Alfardan Group and President of Alfardan Jewellery said: “We promised a new shopping experience, a luxury destination and here we are celebrating Tiffany’s new store concept in style while presenting new jewellery lines that appeal to the Qatar market and our valued customers.”

“An exclusive luxury shopping experience is awaiting our customers, we look forward to welcoming the avid Tiffany lovers and new customers to explore Tiffany’s full range of high jewellery collections,” he added.

Guests joined the evening celebrations to immerse themselves in a new store and to preview the latest collections, most notably Tiffany Paper Flowers. Paper Flowers, the first collection by chief artistic officer Reed Krakoff, comprises high and fine jewellery and reflects a perfect balance of refined femininity and industrial modernity.

The full breadth of collections also on display included the timeless and transcendent Tiffany T and the fiercely feminine HardWear collections.

The elegant interior features the brand’s iconic colour Tiffany Blue, a symbol of luxury and style worldwide. Floors are finished in marble and amazonite whilst custom furnishings inspired by Tiffany’s milestone celebrations fill the space, including a framed portrait of the legendary actress Audrey Hepburn.

Textiles are selected for their expressive quality such as the velvet curtains which drape the entrance of the store’s distinctive VIP lounge.

Founded in New York in 1837, Tiffany & Co is the world’s premier jeweller and America’s house of design. An iconic brand with a rich and storied heritage, Tiffany is a global manufacturer and retailer of jewellery and luxury accessories.

The company operates more than 300 stores in over 20 countries.
